Maderas Bellas is now online! We are dedicated to making custom, luxury hardwood products, such as cutting boards, meant to bring families together in the kitchen, and add beauty and warmth to your home. We specialize in using Texas hardwoods, such as Mesquite, Pecan, Osage, and Texas Ebony. We also offer customizing with the wood species of your choice.
Nacho
Nacho was born into the lumber business. His father and grandfather worked in lumber yards in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, so he's been around wood since he could walk. He's been a woodworker for 30 years, and has made everything from centerpieces to chess sets, Savonarola chairs, to our wedding rings. When CoVid closed New York, and the jeweler couldn't say when the rings we ordered would be ready, Nacho made our own Mesquite wedding bands, turning them on a lathe.
Natalie
Natalie has been blessed enough to work in several creative fields. Her first love was sewing, and she worked in the costume field in Dallas off and on for over 20 years. After time off as a stay-at-home mom, she switched from making fabric roses to icing roses, as a cake decorator. Maderas Bellas, a collaboration with her husband, is chapter 3 in the design book of her life. She's excited to be working with new materials, and making beautiful products to bring warmth to your home.
